DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON FRIDAY, JULY 15, 2011. SHE WAS BORN AND RAISED IN WASHINGTON, D.C. BY HER LOVING PARENTS.

SHARONNE ATTENDED D.C. PUBLIC SCHOOLS GRADUATING FROM H.D. WOODSON SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, WHERE SHE EXCELLED IN HER ACADEMICS STUDIES. SHE WAS ONCE GIVEN THE PRESIDENT'S AWARD FOR ACADEMIA IN 1984 PERSONALLY BY THE FORMER VICE PRESIDENT GEORGE H.W. BUSH.

SHARONNE ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY. SHE HAD COUNTLESS FAMILY DINNERS, AND COOK-OUTS AT HER HOME, FAMILY AND FRIENDS WOULD HANG OUT AT HER HOUSE AND JUST HAVE SOME PLAIN OLD FUN. WE WILL MISS THESE GOOD OLD TIMES.

SHE LEAVES TO CHERISH HER MEMORY HER CHILDREN, LORENZO AND MEAGHAN, DEVOTED SIBLINGS, WILLIE SAMUELS, MARY JOYCE BURGESS, LISA JOLLY AND QUANTINA SAMUELS, HER GRANDMOTHER, MARY E. LINDSEY(BIG MA), HER FIANCE, FLOYD KENNELY AND A HOST OF NIECES, NEPHEWS, AND OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.

I was so saddened to hear about Sharonne's transition. I have so many fond memories of the sweet person that she was. I see that same sweetness in her daughter. Sharonne will truly be missed. Your entire family are in my thoughts and my prayers.

I worked with Sharonne at US Customs,
she was a sweet person, also talking about her family and the fun they had. Just remember the good time you had with her. I know I will.
