Robin words can not describe what you meant to me you were not only my co-worker but my very best friend. It is hard to even try to imagine waking up everyday knowing that you are not here with me. The best part about ever working at the TWP is that I got to meet you, Without you my days are empty but I thank God for the time he allowed us to share together- Take your rest my friend until we meet in that heavenly place. I will love and think of you always.

To the Burton Family,

I no longer work at The Washington Post. However, I remember Officer Burton. She was the sweetest, most helpful person. I am sure that if I were to have visited The Washington Post and saw her, she would have remembered me. She was that good!

I am so very full and very saddened to hear of your loss and our loss as well. You are definitely in my prayers.

My deepest regards to the entire family. I feel as if that includes me. Ms.B was like a mom to me and my son. She was like no other and its been the hardest days just to acccept it that she will not be calling me or we will not share all the LAUGHS...she loved to LAUGH...heart of GOLD.. there aren't many loving people n society that genuinely LOVE AND SHARES from there heart. She was my HEART. I continually look at her pictures IN my phone and the marks she left in my heart will never perish. God knew he needed a real SOLDIER ANGEL and called Ms. B on home.. she loved hard and sacrificed any and everything for her loved ones. My family and her family are all one and we will never be the same now that our CENTER is gone...I cry because I know I miss her and I know she is smiling down on us all..but still I cry and try to act strong..but...I miss u already and I can not and I know I will not find another person that has been so important in me and Reche' life...He ask "mommy why is she gone" and I can only say God needed some more help to watch over us and make sure we all stay strong and her voice and that laugh rings out in my head as I type. I love you forever and will miss you even longer..Therease & Reche'

To the Burton Family: I am a neighbor of yours who heard about the loss in your family and I am truly sorry, I would like to share a scripture found in Gods Word the bible to bring your household much needed comfort, found at Revelation 21:3,4 which reads: With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say:"Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. May peace be with your family, my condolences.
